$103,000 Opening Weekend for Blood: The Last Vampire
The live-action anime adaptation of Blood: The Last Vampire opened in 20 cinemas in the US this weekend, and despite the limited release the film was still able to make an estimated $103,000 in its opening weekend.
The film has already been successfully released in both Japan and the UK, and has grossed close to $5 million worldwide. These figures seem to suggest that Blood: The Last Vampire should have received a larger scale release in the US, and it’ll be interesting to see how the film does from here on in.
